The Mutt Strutt for Maggie's

Well, it ends today (tomorrow is an extra day that doesn’t count and we have done the required distance of 100km) and we’ve banked 128km for the Maggie’s Centre at St Bart’s Hospital, London. We live close to the hospital and see daily what a formidable and remarkable institution it is. Maggie’s, a modern construction within the grounds, is a superb resource for people who are affected by cancer. Their own, or those they care about.

I have been in the fortunate position to organise my own work schedule for over 20 years now (that doesn’t mean it is elastic, but you can stretch it to fit) and have been able to care for 3 family members who bit the big one. At that time, I didn’t realise Maggie’s existed.

If you are living with cancer, or those living with it, Maggie’s is tremendous resource. Thank you for giving, team, you are awesome. x
